I’m not so sure there can be a comparison here. The 98 stuff has been transposed for use in melodies, chords, etc, not to mention being temporally distorted as well (cutting up sounds, etc.). Yeah the OS X track really sucks, but it’s kinda comparing apples to oranges.

Also, I’m still a fan of Transformer Di Roboti’s cover of Michael Jackson’s “Stranger in Moscow” as far as using mac sounds in a song goes.
